WHen on the lake with friends in other boats we use radios to communicate. The pair that I have are Motorola Talkabout T 5720s. Hunting season is here and I would like to use them in the woods. The only problem is that every time you hit the mic button it beeps. A friend told me that he thought there was a way to silence that. I don't have the manuel and was wondering if any of you had or used these radios. If so, any insight into how to get this loud, annoying beep to stop would be great. Thanks,

key the mic. after it beeps keep holding till you here a tone. It's off.
