my dad and i just bought a 1978 Ski Nautique a few months ago, it's pretty rough but it runs & everything works so we're gonna run it like it is right now & than restore it this winter. My question was if anyone had any pictures or if anyone even does any sort of custom paint jobs or interior on their Nautiques. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nate,
And another '78 joins the board! You are only limited by your own imagination, your wallet and the limited space to deal with. The wife's boat was originally that light blue combo that so many Nautiques had. We had the interior redone in a white, teal and burgandy. The front seat style was retained but the rear was re-done so the whole thing folds forward to get to the fuel tank and wiring. Those nuisance ski racks along the sides were also removed to give a bit more floor space. Other than rewiring the dash and installing new guages, we have tried to keep it stock. Don |

Yellowdog,
I'm glad to see you have found another '78. We were really starting to worry about you. Ryan |
