Just bought my boys a 1981 Ski nautique. The front skeg is bent and so is the rudder. I dropped the rudder out and also took the front skeg off and took to a prop guy for straightning. My question is, should there be any bend at all (are the skegs the same). I wish I had taken a little better look under when i bought it but it is going to be a fun boat to restore.

Skegs and rudder should be straight. I've never seen a new ruder or skeg come pre-bent. We usually do it ourselves!! LOL
