Gents, I have a very loose windshield on my 96 Sport Nautique, I can just barely see the loose screws below the black stripping but I can't figure out how to get a tool to tighten the screws. Is there a trick to getting under the stripping? I'm afraid I would trash the stipping if I took it off.
(Yes, Randy I did a search on this topic but it came up with no fixes, hopefully you won't police me to death on this one!!) Whiz |

Whiz, now's your turn to give Randy a break. He's a good guy who had a bad day.
Did you look under the bow? Most of these windshields are through bolted. There should be nuts under the bow. ICBW, but it's worth a peak. BKH |

I'm not exactly sure what your Black striping on the windshield looks like but on my older boat I used a feeler gauge to get the black screw cover off. Once you get it started it comes right out.

You can’t change the wind but you can adjust your sails
