Pretty insignificant question....but I will ask anyways. Looked at the 1982 Ski Nautique 2001 brochure in the reference section that states an ice chest is standard equipment on a 1982 Ski Nautique 2001. I don't have one. Any ideas what I have? (Besides a boat without an ice chest!)

Do you know you have a 2001? What does the air intake look like on the bow deck?

If you don't know you have a 2001, then maybe you have a 1981 or 1980.

My '79 Mustang has a ice chest, bow side of the batter compartment. They share a double hinged teak cover.

The "ice chest" is under the seat and can be confused with"storage space". On my '98 the "ice chest" is the glove box with a plug in the bottom

I own a 1982 nautique 2001. Ice chest is located under/behind the spotter's seat. Somewhere along the line the ice chest on my boat was converted to house the battery.

The title and serial number indicate it is a 1982, the air intake on the bow is raised with the finned vents on either side. I am 99.9% positive this is a 1982 (the .01% left is just in case I am wrong so I can save face!). It looks like my ice chest was also converted to house the battery. Where would the battery go if it was not in this area (under the passenger seat)?
