A friend emailed me about this boat on Ebay. I have no idea if the seller is trying to fool people or (s)he is just naive! It looks like someones homebuilt boat that CC parts and a engine were used on. It is not a molded plywood boat as stated and it is not a antique under ACBS rules. The antique class is pre WWII. It is also not considered a "runabout" because then the engine would be under a deck section and not a dog house. The more I think about it, the more I think that he just doesn't know what he has and doesn't know much about boats.

The "P" on the hull ID indicates it is a Panther. I think CC only made them in 58 and 59. The boat is not a Panther!!
