I am in the process of restoring my 1964 Ski Nautique and need to purchace a new windshield from Taylor Made , I am hoping someone (possibly Reid P) can give me the correct mesurements for the original windshield . Some one put a 70's nautique windshield on this boat , I know taylor still makes these , Ijust need to know which one to order .
please contact me (email) michaelt@westmarine.com
Thanks, Mike Thrower

this item no longer made by taylor. contacted them directly, thay have moved their pastic manufacting to tifton ga. all molds scrapped .all they can do is use your old one as a template, therfore it will be a little larger or smaller, depending on whitch side they mold from. the extusion is no longer available, they advised me to ship by freight truck to their plant in ga.500.00 to 750.00 dollars, depending on parts and labor. but if you dont have an old one this could be a problem for you. will send in come winter, maybe there is a volume dicount . i have no.s and contac info, for my 1964 american skier. if i can be any help call 318 386 2825 boat doctor.

Boat Dr.
I work for West Marine and I have been in contact with Andy Coco with Taylor and he sent me a full listing of the Classic and Holiday plastic windshields , this was about a month ago , I am just not sure of the original dimentions , Reid P lives near me in Charlotte N.C. and I have gotten some measurements from one of his boats , When did you talk with taylor about shutting down this area ?
If this is true , that is bad news .
Someone needs to start reproducing the 60's taylor style windshields as well as the 70's and 80's Waterbonnett windshields .
It is a shame Correct Craft has not been more active in reproducing special parts for thier old boats . Look at all of the parts avalible for all of the old wooden Chris Crafts . People are remaking those parts like crazy .
Maybee with people like us , more parts will be made for old Correct crafts .
After all it is the oldest family owned boat company in America !!!!!!!
