Larry, your word is "Nautique".

"Ok. Natique... S-U-P-R-E-M-E... Natique".

I'm sorry, that's incorrect.

Just walked in the door, wife's away at a church function till late Sat nite, thought I would take the boys out for some go-carting. I got your message, that sucks

Maybe I should refurbish the Torino and show up Reid!!! Perhaps if I had an extra 5-10 Grand laying around, I can wish though!!!

Speaking of maps, I got a GPS for Father's day, was hoping we could get a top speed reading for the Jboat. Will have to put that on hold for now. Next time hopefully, anyway, these lakes aren't going anywhere, no leveys to break that I have seen.

Where in the "D" do you live? A cottage on Zug Island?
Here's another Mustang near us.

Steve,

I live in Clawson, just between Troy and Royal Oak. Sold my cottage on Zug a few years back.

I do most of my boating on Sand Lake just outside of Tawas. It's a great spot, never all that busy even on the weekends.

You on White Lake?

Clawson rings a bell, I think you've told me that in a prior thread.
I live IN White Lake but not ON White Lake. I am in the process of trying to buy a cottage on White Lake. I'll give you the heads up next time we are heading out there. I've got a key to a private launch, if the DNR launch is full.

Not totally offtopic: seeing you guys are from MI, does eiter of you have some time to check something I found in Williamston/Fowlerville any of these days? Or anyone else from here, for that matter? Or, someone you know who lives close(r) by who can?

I'll compensate for time/gas/whatever if wanted, ofcourse.

Please send me an email: sander(at)flyzone-cr.com.

Thanks!

Trip,
The next couple of weeks are totally booked for me. Fowlerville is about 1 hour 15 minutes away, so it is a decent drive. If you are still looking at it in a couple of weeks, let me know and I'll make a bike trip out of it.

Steve,
I'd like to take a look at White Lake. Never been. I've got access to Upper Straits if you're ever interested in checking that out.

I'm planning on heading to White Lake Thursday morning, weather permitting. I'm going to have my boat there for the weekend.
White Lake is nice to hang out on, there is a nice resteraunt/bar, The White Lake Inn, and there is also a party store with a dock so you can get supplies that you run out of. There is a sand/rock bar that you must avoid. You can see the lake bottom topography on Google Earth.
Shoot me an email if you want to head out.
BTW, if you are on Upper Straits lake, check out the house on the hill with the tunnel, on the south side of the lake. My company built the tunnel leading from the elevator to the beach house.

Steve,

I know the place on Upper Straits that you are talking about. Pretty impressive work. Some of those home are just amazing. Must be nice.

I probably won't be able to make it to White Lake this weekend. I now have a bit of a maintenance issue (starter) plus I'll be out of town for a good chunk of the weekend. If something changes though, I'll look for your boat.

I searched the archives in the late 60's and 70's and could not find any mention of a huli boat by CC.

Could this be a ultra rare 1 of 1 special edition?
