On my 1978 CC I ordered a replacement strut bushing from Discount Inboard Marine and was sent two 2" bushings instead of one 6" bushing. Is this just as effective as the original 6" long bushing. It seems that I am losing 2" of total bearing surface area by using two 2" bushings vs one 6" bushing. Any thoughts, comments, or recommendations welcomed.
