The Heidel House is really the only hotel in town I would describe as Nice. This is really a 50s/60s type resort town. Lots of old motels.
Some of the bed and breakfasts are very nice. Many of the CCFans will stay at the Hattie Sherwood Campground, the Bay View Motel, or the Lake Side Motel. Those Motels are booked and there is a waiting list. I've stayed at the Green Lake Inn, no frills, but clean, and located about 1/2 mile from the campground. Several have stayed at the Dartford Inn, but that's a few miles from the action. If you do a Google search on Lodging, Green Lake, WI, lots of alternatives come up. I procrastinated and so my wife will be calling around to some of the alternatives tomorrow. Good luck. I've attended two years running and its been a very good time. BKH |

Mark,
My suggestion is the same as Brians, check out the link to the chamber of commerce for hotels, as well as check into the B&B's for a great stay. While Hiedle House if the nicest, premier hotle on the lake, it will also run $300 bucks a night come summer. Check out: The Angel Inn The Oakwood Lodge The McConnel Inn The Green Lake cottages The Tuk-me-inn These are all located within walking distance to downtown, or are in downtown GL, and a great places to stay.. Good luck and let me know if I can help. I own a house in the town and would be more than willing to help.. Dave aka (Mojo).. |

We waited too long last year and ended up at the Dartford. That turned out to be too far from the action but it was better than nothing.I think I'd look at a B&B if I didn't get in the Bayview.Check out the registration page under "places to stay"

The Dartford is far enough away to be a pain. My wife and I stayed there last year and said we wouldn't stay there again. I'm looking forward to walking to all the action this year.
Has anyone heard from James??? Wonder if he's bringing the Python this year. Ken |

Just as a reminder, For those whom want to go in on a multi-room place (that has a boat slip included) is the Green Lake Marina Condos. 3-4 bedroom that really isn't that unreasonable when shared.. Right on the harbor and across the street from the Goose !!! The slips are $40 bucks a night anyway....
