The foam on the bottom side of the floor panel behind the motor box is coming off of the section that sits directly over the exhaust and muffler. I am assuming that heat is the cause. Any suggestions as to which adhesive to use to stick it back on? Thanks you.

Jim, I would just leave the foam off but if you want to glue it back, use one of the adhesives in the cartridge designed for foam insulation board. It has a low solvent content so it won't eat the foam.

It's half off, half on, so I am going to try to re-attach it. How about contact cement?

Solvent based contact cement- No. As mentioned, I'm afraid the solvent will eat the foam. Water base contact cement- Yes. |

Hows it going Jim, I would look for 3M Headliner Adhesive, it used to be available in autoparts stores I haven't looked in a while but its used to hold foam headliners onto car roofs which become quite hot in the sun. I might also get the edges with a hot melt gun.
