Eric, Since owners of older boats with mechanical paragons can't find anyone to work on them, we have do-it-yourself tech seminars!

This was last month at one of our Blackhawk chapter ACBS spring meetings. I did mention to the group the great thread with pictures you did on alignment.

Pete, believe it or not i am rebuilding one as we speak, it is a saov, out of a blow boat, we do 10 or so a year and still have good parts connections for Paragon's after all you know i worked there for 12 or so years.
i would be more than willing to have a seminar on transmissions if you ever need too....but it looks like you got things handled, the offers open...give me a time and a date,
if your guys need parts call me, I'll put you in touch with the right people or if they go thru the factory I'll pqass on my discount which is lets say, half or so

Eric, The offer is very gracious and I thank you. The guy doing the seminar has rebuilt Chis Craft Hercules (as well as others) all his life. He does the trans's as well but the old mechanical Paragons are remarkably reliable and pretty bullet proof. Of coarse we are not talking big HP's ether! The seminar was well attended by members of both the Blackhawk and Glacier Lakes chapters. Late winter boat get-togethers in the upper midwest always are!!! Only about a quarter of the people are shown in the picture.

Our spring dinner is coming up are I will certainly mention/remind your skills regarding transmission service.

most people have no clue what those things are it because of that you can fetch top dollar for rebuilding them, i only know this cause i'll get calls and the customer will tell me another well known shop will do it for 3 grand and i tell them to send it over and i'll keep it under a thousand, its nice to see a group of guy's that have a interest in this stuff
