I have a 78 Nautique with kind of sloppy steering, I assume all parts are worn enough to cause this but wondering if anyone has made the upgrade to rack from the old rotary type. Wondering if there's any hassles doing or if it's a R&R piece of cake.

Maybe not? I might try this, I'm sure there's upgrade kits so when I do I'll let you all know that may be interested.
