Two weeks ago, I took my son to watch a friend race his boat at Lake Lawrence in Yelm, WA. It was the first time I have been to a small boat race and we had a blast. Charlie, that owns and drives the boat, did most of the fabrication on my finned trailer we built last year. His boat races in the "K" boat class and in current trim puts out about 1300 horse power. It was his first run with the motor, so they had some bugs to work out in the starting system (notice Craig, the owner of Wicked Fabrication, standing in the water with a jump box to get it started) as well as a break in procedure that kept them from running in the actual race. It did manage a run of about 120 MPH on the warm up lap before he shut it down to cool off! It was a great day of boat racing and we can't wait to watch him run again!

Yeah John,
But, unlike you, they don't know what it's like to have your hair waving in the wind at WOT on the water

Thanks a lot for nothing Morfoot. That's just one more secret out of the bag. Now they're probably gonna make me wear a rug at GL.

Those guys do have the big uns.I've watched a few K boats and after a few laps the water is chopped up and moving every direction.Like a motorcross track in motion pick a line. That is one nice boat esp. the paint.

Truth hurts sometimes. My hair is getting thin just like my wallet and Kim is lobbying to have me shave my head. Don't think I'm ready for that one yet and YES Jbear I'm jealous.

Whats wrong with mullets? Patti says I was really in style in 1975.

'Course this picture is from last December.

Used to have a cool guy on here by the name of The Dude who had Mullet Free in his signature line. Wonder whatever happened to him?
