Just got back this past weekend from a 2 week stay in NC. Just a few boat/ski related photos. No big deal show skiing pics or new achievements, just a good family time.

Larry,

Wow, looks like a great family skiing vacation!

Do have a couple questions, your daughters friend is "boyfriend" and your son's friend is "friend"? Based on the double standard for son's, shouldn't that be the other way around?

Who is getting hit harder with the spray, the skier in/on the wake, is that you or your bro?

Welcome back!

Larry's in the wake getting the facial. Bro outside doesn't have any goggles on.

That music makes me thirsty for a Mai Tai.

I am always thirsty HW. Thanks for the call today. Pretty cool...I talked to HW, Billy, Reid and Rob L all in one day.

Nice to see you have the boy following Dad in the use of the cool goggles Larry. Thanks for sharing the vid. Just wish it would've worked out to meet up with ya. Next time!

Nice Larry! I'm happy you can have such a great time. Skiing with the fam is one of the best things in the world to me.

Very nice Larry. Looks like a great time with the family. That family time is one of the things I love about these boats. My seven year old loves his CC time.

Scott, it was great. Love it down there. 95+ everyday, during the week I pretty much have the lake to myself, although there is the occasional weekday tuber. In the past five years I have managed to get in 15 weeks down there. Future full time home.

As far as the cape. I love the National Seashore and the beaches are beautiful, Coast Guard, Nauset Light, Head of the Meadow, Whitecrest in Wellfleet, Race Point in P-town. Downside is the water is bitter cold. Warmer water is found on Nantucket Sound side, Chatham (any) and Yarmouth (Sea Gull)are nice. On the bay side calmer, warmer, Skaket Beach in Orleans is small but popular.

As far as sea food, Spankys on Hyannis Harbor is fun, so is Mattakeese in Barnstable village, both on the water. Aqua Grill in Sandwich, on the canal is good. There are a zillion others, but those are ones I've been to more than once.

Any other questions, let me know. Want to go for a ski, let me know. Where are you staying? I know you've got kids, got some tips there, too.

Common now Larry "Future full time home"?
How could you ever leave our wonderful winters behind?

We're just makin a last minute midweek (Sun. to Fri.) get-away to Bay View campground just over the Bourne on rt.28.
My girl's aren't big "all-day" beachers, but I do like to go late afternon, pack a cooler, and hang-out till the sun goes down.
We've done that a few times at I think "old Silver" beach.
I've also heard that Paine's beach is pretty cool to check-out at low tide.

I was going to mention old silver. I've never been but my daughter has and likes it and it is close to where you're going to be. If you're staying right there on the canal, I would suggest heading up to sandwich. Right on the canal is a very family friendly "seafood sams" cafeteria style place with good food and outside tables. Also, as far as evening trips to the beach, the boardwalk in sandwich, just off "boardwalk road" out of the village center is a great evening spot. If the tide is right, jumping off the boardwalk is fun. Don't miss twin acres ice cream on 6A between sandwich and the Sagamore Bridge.
