I just purchased a 1977 Correct Craft Martinique. It has a correct craft trailer, but no title. The data plate near the toungue has no serial number on it. Is it possible that this trailer was never titled?

Some states don't require a title or registration for the trailer as long as the boat has a current registration.

George:
Welcome to the club. I also have a '77 Martinique as well as a '93 SN. My CC trailer for the '77 does not even have the data plate. If you need to have it titled or just need to get plates, just say it is a homemade trailer with total capacity under 4000 lbs (cut off weight in most states for title requirements I believe). I believe with boat and trailer weight, you should be under 3000 lbs. |

Check to see if the axle has a number.
