I have a brand new reverse rotation 289 distributor gear and a brand new 351W standard rotation distributor gear for sale. Each one costs over $30 new from mallory. I am selling them for $20(each) plus S&H. I also have a brand new in box PCM fuel pump for a 351. This pump goes for 73.50 from DIM. I am selling mine for 65.00 plus S&H.

Aren't the gears the same except for the direction of the teeth? If they are, I would be interested in the one for the reverse rotation motor (RH). Thanks.

Actually the 289-302 and the 351&up gears differ slightly. The inner diameter of the gears is different. The 289-302 gear is smaller. I found this out the hard way when I contacted Mallory and was given an incorrect part number. You might be able to drill out the gear however I would consult your local machine shop prior to purchasing in case this is not an option. Let me know what you want to do and Ill gladly help.

Thanks for your reply!

Thanks for the insight. I would have figured that the distributors and all their parts were common. I think I will get the correct one for the 351 RH. I appreciate your response. RD
