We went out to the farm to work on the Mustang and the neighbor stopped by with a 40 ouncer of Canadian Whiskey and suddenly our plans had changed!!
Heading off to Florida... They want JBear to know that they're wearing thongs... under their longjohns!! We stopped and had a drink Yup- it works! Bud and King are 23 years old and weigh a little over 2500lbs each. They are usually spotlessly clean but the neighbor had just run into town to the liquor store and thought he would give the horses a workout. BTW- Pete, he sez they are all original!! |

Now those are some cool horses. Would hate to feed them guys.
As nice lookin' as they are..you and your 40 oz/er better get on a plane...they'll take to long to get here. Bring your skiing stuff too. Boy it looks cold there! john ps: I gotta ask Doug..what's a "Q-smoker"? |

That's some serious horse power When I was a kid my Dad had 7 ponies for use in his business, which was located 7 miles from home.He still talks about how he'd get a call from the police department saying your ponies got out and are eating Mrs so and so's flowers.Don't miss those days.

I SAY "southern style" with more respect than you can imagine. I grew up in a German/Mennonite area and we always ate well but there wasn't alot of spice or flavour to our main meals. The desserts were another thing. So when I travelled in the States and started get hooked on the Carolinas pulled pork "samiches" with coleslaw, the Texas brisket, burnt ends, and tritips with lots of rubs, sauces and of course the low and slow cooking -well I started trying it my self. Now there is times where I pack up a few racks of ribs and rub and sauce and when I get to work we fire up the smoker and by lunch time the ribs are done!!
Eric- you shouldn't be funnin with something as serious as good smoked meat!! |
