Wife wanted a picnic table for our little one, so that's how I spent Sunday afternoon. Came out fairly well I think for a guy with two left thumbs. BKH

That's pretty cool. Is she going to get a miniature Coors Light umbrella for it?

Nice work! Looks like you went first class with the material too.

About $80 in lumber. Redwood, but it looked pretty bad before I sanded it. Of course afteward I wish I had taken more time to line up screw holes, etc. But, it is a kids table. Not like it has to last forever, and only took me couple hours just plowing through it.

HW, She'll get some kind of mini umbrella, but I think Elmo is more likely than Coors Light.

How nice! That's something she'll always treasure. Wait til her kids are sitting on those benches. Scary, huh?

Very nice!

I think projects made for someone in particular always come out better.

Brian, nice work for beautiful little girl. Be sure to share a soda or milk shake with her. I've got a picture of my eldest doing just that and it's one of favorites when she was that age. Wished the table was as pretty as yours.

Nice job!

Without a close inspection, this shop teacher bets it will last for quite a while.
