I've been asking and looking for the fuel filter for my 1994 Ford 351W HO. It is the ProBoss engine with Protec ignition. I have been replacing a small inline fuel filter near the drive shaft below the floor. There is also some type of metal canister that kind of looks like the FCC on the GT40 EFI. I tried to open it one time (didn't put much effort into it), but I think it has a filter in it. Does anyone know about that filter? Whitelake gave me a suggestion of a screw on filter, but I wanted to double check. Thanks.

Here's a pic of the metal canister before the fuel pump. Does anyone know if it contains a filter? If so, how do you get it open?

Thats the Low pressure (feed Pump) pump and is not a filter although it does have a screen in it!

Do you know how to get to the screen? Is it something that should be regularly cleaned? My boat has a hard cold start issue that I'm trying to diagnose. I have to crank it for a while before it will start cold.
