Last year I bought my daughter a wakeboard. One of the bindings tore and we want to upgrade the bindings a little. How do I know which bindings will fit her board? We bought the board at West Marine and it is a Airhead Board. I am new to boarding so just trying to learn a little about the different fits and if they are universal. Thanks

If the big box shops can't order replacements, then take the board to a ski/board shop and they should be able to set you up. The bindings are sized by range or by shoe size, lace or velcro, etc. Lots of options.

I am not familiar with the Airhead boards other than I know they are a low cost board sold at many of the sporting good stores. Most of the "name brand boards" have the same bolt pattern, so you can use different bindings. I would want to take the Airhead to a shop and make sure before I bought anything.

You cand find great deals on binding online, particularly for one or two year old models. Ebay, evogear.com, grizzlysports.com, adrenalinesports.com, thehouse.com, lots of them out there. Do a google search on wakeboard binding clearance, or wakeboard bindings closeouts. I have two pair of adjustable bindings which I use for beginners and guests. However, I much prefere bindings that actually fit. There is a big difference in performance.
