Pam and I just got back from a week "up-north". (Eagle River / Three Lakes WI.) We took the old 64 'skier for this years- maiden voyage on the famous "Chain" of lakes.....WOW!!! What a great area to play!

On Memorial Day, we were fortunate enough to catch up with The Brainard"s at their beautiful lakeside "cabin" for the afternoon. What a great time! We took a couple hour ride in the Tique to check out Charlies boat house (that was moved this winter to set new pilings), as well as a tour of "their" side of the chain of lakes. (I was lost most of the time- nothing new)

As usual ... Great people from a great website!!!!   Again a "BIG THANKS" to The Brainards!!!!!

Steve and Pam,
Always happy to see CCfan family especially when it involves our favorite pastime boating! Yes, I don't know of a better place with so much water made up of relatively small lakes where you can do so much boating. Steve, we didn't even get to the other side of the Three Lakes chain - there were 7 more lakes past Charlies - we went the other way and hit 9 lakes. (20 total on the Three Lakes side of the chain)

John,
Guess what?? Between 4 adults none of us remembered a camera!!!

Steve and Pam,
Sorry that I missed you, but we had to get home.

The boathouse!... A BIG THANKS for leaving it open for us to see! Words cant describe how cool it is! I can only imagine some of the evenings spent upstairs!!!    Its like walking back in time!

Also would love to hear some of the stories of how some of the "signage" was obtained!??

Again...thanks!
