Yeah we put the shower back together before we left. When I checked out she told me that her husband had parts on order for it. It was little more than a fast drip but worked out OK as long as you were patient.

Next year Eric will have to bring his truck with all his tools

Except I like most folks at this reunion, hahaha.

Did you have the other key to the room? I couldn't find it and only returned one key.. They didn't ask for it, but if you have it I think you can just drop it in the mail and it will get back to them.

So do you think you are going to attend next year Eric? Maybe you will have a boat put together by then...

Big Green Lake has a layout and facility locations that accommodates nearly every interest and budget. Nice campground, reasonable hotels and luxury accommodations are all located within walking distance to each other and a real fun bar - the now legendary Goose Blind. Big enough to support groups our size yet not too big.

The lake is big and deep. 95% spring fed so it is good water quality but it takes a lot to warm it up. Also wind will kick some pretty big whitecaps in short order. Not a skiers lake, but _decent_ water can usually be found. And yes, the weather is variable. We have been on a cool streak the last few years. But like HW said, Y1 was blazing.

Lastly, it has the Moj' who will do anything for a good party. And a couple of buds who like to help him out. It returns every year because a lot of the leg work has been done years prior. Now it is just tweaks and improvements to the formula. And it still is a lot of work, but a lot less work than setting it up at a new location.

However, alternate plans and volunteers are always welcome. I'll share the tenderloin marinade recipe...

Just a first timer's opinion here. Green Lake had excellent facilities for a group gathering like this. The town was great. Everything was within walking distance. A big lake with good facilities for a large group of boats. There was a sandbar. Can't forget the best part....the people.

Eric,

I will speak for him:

Spend more money on boats this year...hehe

All said and done, it was very nice to meet you and have good talk as well. I am glad you had a chance to come this summer.

And I know you will be back next year, it kind of grows on you once bitten.

Dave

it was a class act, and i couldnt even begin to name all the names. i do have to thank Randy for letting me bunk with him an his friend Mike, it was tough but i fit between them in the king size, Its going to be hard to rag on some of you guy's now that we've met. im I'll plan a return trip for next year, somehow someway i have to out do that blue boy that Joe owns, for a Ford it was pretty fast lol
all in all it was a great time and couldve used a couple more days up there to settle in and leave the worries at home. no complaints from me, just a good time and those who put it all together should get a pat on the back

Steve, Mojo, Allan and families. The work that you obviously put in behind the scenes does not go unnoticed. It takes a lot to make these events happen and all the extra touches like the name badges and the welcoming party help make this a great event. THANKS for that. Sorry I did not get more time to have a yarn to you Steve looks like I will have to come back again.

Once again thanks Keith also for this site. Your passion for Correct Craft and Skiing keeps this site growing with what we call Aussie "mateship".

Wow,
What a week... Hi all, back from GL vaca...
I'm glad you all made the time to come up to our beautiful home away from home.. Sure the Wisconsin North winds soured the day on Sat, but those who stayed through Tuesday, got a great treat with sunny skies, cold beer and great conversation.
My family had a wonderful time getting to know as many of you as possible. I hope I was able to spend some time with each of you because that's the name of the game..
We started 4 years ago with just the idea of getting some CCfan'ers together for an informal get together. With almost 200 people, GL09' has become something else (I have to find the write up in the local paper) great read......
Anyways, the GL09 crew will be hard at work to prepare a weekend to accommodate more boats, more food, and especially, more friends next year !!!
Thanks again for all the kind words....

"What did we like best about GL09?"

EVERYTHING........

What else can be said that hasn't already?

Just an awesome time with a awesome bunch of C/CFANS.

Was well worth the long haul just to get the '80 in the pictures. Lewy kinda blew us outa the water for the longest trip but it was well worth it just to meet him and Jo and hear the funny way they talk.

Thanks to Reid for the PCI sweatshirt...it was a life saver. Kinda forget my Ohio roots when it comes to the cooler weather.

Rob hit the nail on the head when he spoke about family...just the way me and Patti feel...well kinda extra about Rob,Dena and Emily.

Man...I could go on and on...

BIG thanks to Mojo, Steve, Alan and their familes...

And most of all...where would we ALL be without Keith and his idea for a site?
