Does anyone know where I can get new Baby Moon hub caps with the hole in the middle for the bearing buddy? Or even good clean used ones would be great!
Dia. 7 5/8" where it clips into the wheel. I have searched the web with no luck. Thanks AT |

I bought rims, trim rings and baby moons from Stockton Wheel. Their customer service sucks but they were able to make what I wanted.

Al,
You need to get used to the internet more!! I couldn't remember where I got the ones for my Atom trailer so I just did a search and it came up with 15,500 sites or references! I looked at a couple and it seems they may use the OD of the moon for the measurement. I just purchased the smallest ones since I put 12" rims without the provision for any hubcaps on the TeeNee. I had to make hubcap clips and screw them on. For the hole, I simply used a hole saw and cut them myself! I was going to put some trim/edging on the hole but decided to wait and see if the cut edge would start to rust. |

Al,
Finding a original with the extruded hole for the bearing buddys will be a problem just because of the years since they hav been made. I'd just keep searching and hoping if your set on getting the same hole. I couldn't wait! The only other thing you may consider is getting a regular set and then taking them to a "short run" metal fabricator. The extruded hole is simply made by using a larger bottom die compared to the top punch. I can't guarantee they won't gall the chrome at the rolled edge though. |

Dang Pete, That trailer's so nice I'd be afraid to put a boat on it.
