I noticed our 74 Muatang 17 omc 225 has a incorrect factory I.D. plate. It says "Mustang 16" when in fact its a 17. We bought it new, no one has messed with it. Our 76 Mustang 17 pcm 302 has the correct one. I measured and matched the two and confirmed it is a 17. Is this common with these older boats, or was it installed on a sunny Friday afternoon? How rare is this??
