Hi, how can I tell which model I have purchased? The Coast Guard placard lists it as a "Ski Tique 179". It was purchased in pieces part way through a professional restoration - it has a PCM Ford 240HP engine, the dash has the woodgrain finish.
Thanks, Shaughn.

Call or email Correct Craft with the hull number, they can tell you what you have. Very helpful folks!

It sounds like you have a 179. The original ski tique was 16' the next generation is 17'9" the 179 also had side vents on the windshield we have a 179 that we bought new, still runs strong

Swamp Demon, I'm pretty sure that's the one from looking at the brochures. Is there anything special I should know? It has the PCM351 being rebuilt as we speak, recon 600VacSec Holley - there is absolutely nothing in it at the moment apart from the prop shaft, everything else is out and being restored. Sounds like a lot of engine for a pretty small boat! I notice the floors under the front seats are pretty bad, but I've read about this in regard to these boats.

Ours and the other two that were on the lake both have 302 4v. sounds like yours is really gonna haul. Ours will run 50 mph with the 302.
you should talk to 79nautique BC at wawasee he claims 60 mph with some mods ( Engine and prop)I believe. Other than normal items that wear out(starter, water pump points& plugs) we havent had any problems I think we have about 700 hours
