Dave,

If I am in town there is a good chance I can checkout the area during Mt Dora Antique Boat Festival, (March 26th-28th). I believe starting last year the location was moved to Wooton Park in Tavares, FL just down the road from previous Mt Dora Gilbert Park location in Mt. Dora.
Antique Boat Festival

I think this would be a great location, but as you know the Lake Dora water quality is even rough for the gators. Also next to Gilbert Park, The Lakeside Inn offers good place to stay for the CCFAN members looking for guest rooms vs. campsites.    Lakeside Inn

Wow the pics of the wildlife were great, oh yeah the gators looked cool too... Glad to see the turn out was really good. I will have to try to plan my snowmobile trip for January next year, maybe then I can make it down.

If the date is moved back to let more people come and see some
great Florida wildlife and events, then how long should the
River Run be next year ?

Seemed most were there for only 1 1/2 to 2 days. I'm planning for at least 4-5 next year.

Just looked up the website about the Mt Dora boat show. Since we are in the area, Lil Sue and I will head out there to check it out.

Bring that sweet looking boat and you are welcome to stay :-) Actually we don't mind getting visitors but you just missed bike week!   Too bad cause we had an empty rental house right across the street.

Why were you looking at Quinners Facebook account? Boring day at work,or no work to do on the CC.That is a slippery slope onto which you have climbed..........
