I discovered while winterizing my Mustang last year that I had a leak in my fresh water intake hose. Do I need to look for anything specific when replacing it? Should it be formed at all or just straight by the foot?

Thanks!

Nothing special about the hose. Route it however you like, just don't let it kink. Although the 1" hose like on my Skylark I have is almost like a hard plastic. Kinda like what you would use in a lawn irrigation system. But no ,nothing special.

David,
Marty's correct that the intake all the way up to the RWP is pretty stiff rubber hose. It needs to be pretty heavy or wire reinforced so it won't collapse from the pumps suction. Marty, since you're at the auto supply, can you look up some hose numbers for Dave?

There you go again with the suction Pete... CQ's signage made it back on his Suburban for the trip, and wait in the train station parking lot.

That's pretty much what I figured, thanks.

At least I know now how the water was getting in my bilge last season.
