Need a new one (specifically the top cover). Have been informed by local dealer that this is no longer available from CC. Anyone have one to sell? Any creative ideas to repair or replace?

Richard,
There are several threads on the broken lids. The bottom line it Cc went to the very bottom cheap on this one. Even if you do get lucky and find one the chances are high that it will break again. have you ever done any epoxy and glass fabrication? (or carbon fiber?) The existing threads revolve pretty much around fabricating up a new lid yourself as close as possible to the original but of course with high quality materials. |
