I have a 2005 216, shaft drive, less then 300 hours. Today, the boat ran fine at idle, but when pulling up a skier, the engine would rev up and it felt like the shaft would spin, then catch. From what I have read on other threads on this forum, is it more likely that the prop key has sheared, then a transmission problem? How can I confirm that the key has sheared? Thanks
