Andy, do you still have the GT40p heads for sale? Any idea the condition (hours), etc? I could use a bit more power out of my 97 SN.

Jones,
The GT40p heads are used and they look good. I'm going to install new valve guide seals and lap the valves this weekend(cause I have an extra set of seals). When I picked them up I checked the valve seal by filling the combustion chambers with gas overnite and they looked fine. I'll post after I look at them real close.

I don´t think so, 429/460 is the BBF and the DOOE are for 351w...and if i´m correct they are not interchangeable.
different story are the 351C heads that can be put in the 351W block and it called a clevor engine

DOOE and DOVE are the casting #s stamped in the middle of 1970 (D0) 429 and 460 heads. There may be some recycled #s in the ford world but it used to be C 60's D 70s E 80's F 90's. I dont follow the newer stuff much so I cant say what happened recently with #s but i would guess the letters kept on going.

351 Clevland motor named for the assembly plant it came out of and windsor plant for the 351w.

Do you still have the gt 40'S? What does it take to put them on a stock 88 351? Besides gaskets would I need a new intake manifold?

Sold the GT 40p heads,
All the other heads are very nice (I'd put them on my boat if I needed them)
