Anyone have any comments regarding hanging your boat?

There are some older CC's than mine that still "hang" up on the Lake where we live, but I'm afraid to try it.

Thanks,

if your stringers and lifting hardware are 100%, go for it.

i have read that disconnecting the prop shaft is recommended when you lift it to avoid alignment 'issues'. if you try it, i would disconnect the shaft at the flange and check for relative movement. if it moves, don't do it. (they also recommended to disconnect when trailering, but i think thats going overboard. i believe it was on the marinegears site.)

Excellent points. Sounds like another job for the MIG Welder. Think I'll just fabricate a "false" trailer under her lift. It's the way my Float Boat hangs.

Thanks!
