Check out this video, I wouldn't do for it for no amount of money.

i wonder what the hourly rate is for that job?
I liked how at the one point in the video where you think he's at the top, the narrator says, "Only another 60 feet to go." I'm with you Tim, I wouldn't do that for any amount of money. I don't even like getting on a 6ft step ladder |

Going up would be fun but then what...
Seems a little ridiculous to have to climb a tower like that to change a light bulb. |

It's a lot cheaper to have a person climb up there, and the helicopter generates a large electric charge ... probably not what you need around that metal tower. |

Theres a video maybe on you tube of a lineman crawing on hi voltage lines to inspect them. The guy rides on a helo and grounds himself to the line then steps off. Its pretty cool.

When I lived in Houston in the 80s there was a knuckle head that used to get a large charge out of illegally climbing sky scrapers or insanely high towers and parachuting off them. The first time he did one of the buildings, cops were waiting for him at the roof and just shy of reaching the roof and the cops, he leaped off. Bet the cops crapped. Just as I suspected, he (blue bandit) is documented on you tube
