I'm working on a deal to sell my boat, but the engine would not be part of the sale, thus just checking here to see if any gear heads would want a Python engine for their hot rod boats. I'd be looking for $7,000 complete, including, ECM, manifolds, FCC, low pressure fuel pump, etc..Should be ready to run with the proper wiring to any boat.
Has 615 hours, same owner since 220 hours...Circulation pump replaced 1 yr ago, new impellers every year, oil changes every 50 hrs, plugs every season, etc...

Jack,

Not related to the sale, curious why your buyer would want to purchase less the motor??

That would be a nice PowerPlant for a BFN.

Potential buyer wants to do a diesel conversion...Deal not likely, but I figured I would gauge interest in the engine...

A diesel powered ski boat would be a stinky ski/ boarding outing. Has this guy put much thought into the idea?

You should track down PN user PING.   He is the guy who cracked his 502 a few weeks ago.

Supra was attempting to put a diesel in but I think the weight was too much and the fuel system was kind of a nightmare...Seems like it was a cummins or mitsu the stuck in it.

If the deal does go through this would work really well for my '78 Cuddy Nautique. I would be very interested. Where are you located?
