Lifting an 88 Nautique

I have a 88 ski nautique that I would like to wet sand, buff, and wax the hull underneath. I have a friend that has a shop with car lifts. Is it possible to rig something up to lift it off the trailer? What should I use? Anything to be careful of? Thanks.

Use the lifting rings on the front and rear deck to lift and hang the boat .
I had a friend who re gel coated his whole boat and this is what he did .
