I need a raw water pump body for 1979 ski tique.Itis a jabsco 17100-0001 pump. The part # for the body is 17104-0000.I started the motor on the boat lift and it took only a few seconds too destory the impeller and pump body.Does anyone where to locate one.

I have to assume you started it on the lift without it being in the water. Are you sure you just don't need a new impeller? Tell us more about why you feel you need a complete RWP?

By looking up his pump number Pete,thats a plastic body pump. I fear he's going to have an expensive lesson.In the wanted section I refered him to Billy,I seem to remember that this has come up before and he had a solution.

Wow, you are correct!! I just did a search and found out it is the plastic body pump!! Yes, he's got to get in touch with Billy. I believe Billy's solution is the crank mounted pump but I may be wrong!!

Do give Depco pump a call before you go the retrofit route.
