Do the rudder and both prop shaft supports have cutless bearings in them?

Kent, No on the rudder port and you only have one in the strut. Where's the "other prop shaft support" you speak of? Are you thinking the log and stuffing box where the shaft goes through the hull? It's not a "support". It's the means of sealing out the water! |

Yes I was speaking of the log. Ok so my next question is at what point do most people change the rudder support as far as wear is concerned?

They can be quite sloppy before you need to think about putting in a new rudder port. Try tightening the gland first. If that doesn't remove the slop or some of it, then, do a repack. |
