Being a Canadian and beaver lover myself, I thought this Beaver boat Co. might have a Canadian angle, but not too much information on the web. Can this statement be true...

Yes!! but, I may have to stop in Slinger. I don't know if you know but both 15's are going to the scrap heap. I put in some hard time on them but Colin as well as the ski club with the one that still ran gave it some hard use when they ran it on the Fliver. Compression on both is BAD!!!
Anyway, I just bid (ebay) on a 20 short jonny-ev (that's the way Billy describes the OMC group!!) in Slinger!!

Thats a pretty sweet rig. Made by Century I am guessing. I would feel weird driving it though, even though I am left handed, the steering wheel is on the wrong side...

This boat was for sale in Orillia Ontario Canada, seller stated "This is our rare wooden Beaver pleasure craft made in Orillia, on its own trailer made by Otaco.
Beaver Boat and Marine was located at 192 Atherly Road"

Perhaps a different Beaver Boat company than the 1965 glass model for sale? Looks like another unsolved mystery for Encyclopedia Brown, errr, I mean Mr. Brainard
