   Lake of the Ozarks!!! Absolutely beautifull lake ...but there is much too much traffic and big _ss boats that send wakes large enough to make it no fun!

Last time (only time) we were there , we got rocked like a drunk sailor on a rollercoaster!No offense to drunk sailors!

I would really like to take the stang on a sceenic tour with the wife aboard ( no kids and no boarding...the stang is for the wife and I !)... to see the lake !!!

For those who know the lake...when and where to find good boating without the Traffic???

The tiny ship hauls _ss but is rather intollerant of sea size swells

	Hey Stang, I've been going to the Lake of the Ozarks my entire life. As a kid in the 60's we were able to ski in the main channel behind a 14' boat. My how things have changed (in my mind for the worse). The best time to enjoy this beautiful lake is approaching. After this weekend much begins to shut down. Particularly if you can avoid weekends. With my job I am able to go on Mondays or Tuesdays and you will be amazed at how quiet it is. If you need to be there on a weekend wait until October and it will be better. If you know when you are going to be there let me know, I'd love to see your boat. Chuck

	Lake...thanks! Hopefully we will look at a mid to late Sept(early Oct)trip...it we can get away! maybe combine it with a couple week days on the water and the Sat. at Herman for the wine tours! Let you know later if we are heading your way! Gary
