I know this topic has been posted before but I still am looking for an answer.
Can my Airguide speedo work accurately with my brass thru-hull pick-up in my '79 Mustang or should I install a stern Pitot? Thanks, Keith |

i would just try it. all of the airguide stuff i have read requires the use of a stabilizer.
if the orfice size is the same, it should be close. the thru hull pick up on the woody almost sank the previous owner. loop it high or keep an eye on it. |

It does work, just not very consistant. Last season it jumped around a bit and didn't work well at slow speeds. I wasn't sure if it was the thru-hull pickup or if I need a new cable.
