I think the anti-siphon valve looks like this.
It threads into the elbow then the rubber fuel line goes over it: http://www.nautiqueparts.com/images/products/detail/S4407.jpg |

Last weekend I took the boat out and took a cruise around the lake, then went to pick some people up from the dock. Went to take off for the holeshot (with a skier if that matters), then the boat just died. Boat was able to fire back up and idle back fine. Also an interesting note: if I slowly took the boat up to about 2200 rpm I could cruise at maybe 16-20 (didn't look at the speedo because I was watching the tach, just a guess for speed). Boat would die if I want any quicker.
Since I have replaced the fuel filter, started in the driveway, and the boat ran fine. I got a fuel pressure gauge and will test this weekend. Should I check the anti syphon valve? And which one is it on the top of my tank? if you have any pictures please send them to me! I'd like to know which one is the one I need to clean! Low pressure pump? High pressure pump? Any input is greatly appreciated! |
