Because.... I have an unusual request/question. I recently bought a set of the longer boat guide pads(48") only to realize I need the shorter ones for the SN. Not a big deal because I also happen to need a set for my bowrider. So my question is can I order a set of plain 48"covers with 36" foam inserts? And yes I know I could just goto the hardware store and solve this issue without buying a second pair, but I figure I need them for the bowrider anyways and it supports the site.

John,

I don't know if your local hardware store has the foam pads for 2" or larger pipe. Just cut your existing foam pads or go to McMaster/Carr and order a 6' piece, then contact me for a set of these Mine are 36" covers.

FWIW, I purchased a pair from the CCF store earlier this summer. It could have been a fluke pair but mine faded grey within weeks and the boat is stored indoors most of the time. Disappointed, but the money goes to the site and that's worth it.
