Hi there,

I am considering buying a Sport Nautique SV-211. My major concern, however, is that I will use it in saltwater/ocean.....I live on the coast of RI. Wondering if anyone out there has any perspectives on/experience with operating a Nautique in saltwater?

Please let me know.

Thanks very much

closed water cooling, salt-away after every use and budget for riser every few years.

some salt user needs to try ceramic coating to see if it will extend the life of the maniflods and risers.

one addition to my earlier post....i have to moor the boat in salt water, so will not be able take in out between uses.

how much does that complicate the situation?

thanks again

i would not recommend leaving any boat in brine. go for dry storage or a lift and flush it EVERYTIME.
