And even further....my family's been on the lake for 8 generations. The last Indian family in the area lived on my great-great-great-great grandfathers land (vineyards); so I guess we've witnessed advances from the "canoe". My great-grandfather was also a purser on one of the big paddlewheels that used to ply the lake picking up grapes from the vineyards. Then came the inboards.....

Alright John I think I finally got the Lone Star "up" for you...turns out it was a 1964, not a '65. Brandi helped me and we did NOT use photobucket. I still think I prefer photobucket but have yet to remember the proper sequence. I may have to hunt for that old "how to" thread.

Here is the only known picture of the 1969 Slickcraft with a 100hp Mercury. Learned to 'foot behind this boat but shortly discovered Correct Crafts and there was no turning back!!

John: Found another pic' of the Slickcraft....looks like from a ski show in July of 1970 and it looks like Holiday Lakes. I see why we thought it was white... was blue sides and white deck!! Pretty cool for the day!! I think the lighter blue boat was our first Correct Craft...the Miller/Waldbauer "Playmate".

looks familiar does it?

that was the very first C/C in our club I believe. was a big boat..wildcat maybe? my brother will know. loud & fast in a straight line as I remember.

I think that is me (at the wheel) my brother (standing) & our Mom in the back seat in Bill's Slickcraft.

I have pictures of my Dad and a wood boat he pulled out of a burn pile (before they burnt it!), he refurbished it and found an old Evenrude to put on it. I can remember riding on it in diapers ('67ish) I'll try to find them.
My Sister said me finding this SN reminded her of that.
