I have a question for NWZ owners. Does your steering cable route under the drive shaft on the floor (under the transmission), or does it route behind the shaft through-port?
In my blue boat, purchased without the engine installed, the cable definitely appeared to route in front of the drive shaft through port, but the purple boat routed it behind. I'm curious which one is right. Or does it matter? Thanks! Kevin |

Kevin,
It doesn't matter. The only thing that does is to minimize sharp bends as muck as possible. In that area bending would be before the cable enters the support tube. |
