Pretty sure it isn't but will never know unless I ask!
Is the oil cooler directional? Also, does anyone have a picture of what the bracket looks like? I'm looking to make something but not sure what to bolt it to on the engine, keeping in mind I have a strainer on order..

Mine is same as the coil bracket and I bolted it to the outside bolt hole on the back of the head. Not sure thats right, but it works. Mine came with a twisted coil bracket and didn't have enough hose to reach a suitable spot, I just got a new straight bracket and added enough hose to get it to the closest place.

The oil flow direction needs to be opposite to the water flow direction.
I hope this makes sense

Grahan, Chris is correct. The direction of flow maintains the max delta T keeping the efficiency of heat transfer high. So, you will want to feel the oil cooler from the starboard side per your picture. |

Thanks, yep makes perfect sense.. other than the fact that I dont understand direction of flow with the trans oil hoses!!
