Pretty sure it isn't but will never know unless I ask!
Is the oil cooler directional?

Also, does anyone have a picture of what the bracket looks like? I'm looking to make something but not sure what to bolt it to on the engine, keeping in mind I have a strainer on order..

Mine is same as the coil bracket and I bolted it to the outside bolt hole on the back of the head.   Not sure thats right, but it works. Mine came with a twisted coil bracket and didn't have enough hose to reach a suitable spot, I just got a new straight bracket and added enough hose to get it to the closest place.

The oil flow direction needs to be opposite to the water flow direction.

Chris is correct. The direction of flow maintains the max delta T keeping the efficiency of heat transfer high. So, you will want to feel the oil cooler from the starboard side per your picture.

Thanks, yep makes perfect sense.. other than the fact that I dont understand direction of flow with the trans oil hoses!!

Noted.. so I connect the side of the oil coller without the drain plug to the hull. Simples
