I recently just bought a 84 2001 SN with a 351. I have installed new carb, plugs and thermostat. Cranks up will idle and run great. But when you deccelorate back to idle she stalls out and will not restart for about 30 minutes. If anyone could help me out I'd appreciate it.

You may want to change the points & condenser. May not be the problem here, but their age is unknown, I assume. Also consider new distributor cap. How do the plug wires look?
