   I would like to buy a few classic slalom skis to go with my 70 Mustang when it's done next year.  I found an very good condition d*ck Pope from about 68 ( three times champ on it ) locally and bought it.  What are some of the slalom skis on the market around 1970 vintage that were considered good for their day? I am not going to mess them up and mount them, I want to put them on a rack in the basement rec room to be used by anyone who would like to try a classic ski behind the Mustang. 
I hope someone here is old enough to know.

	I still have a Taperflex from I think late '60's, might be mid 60's. It has a flat bottom that looks like a kitchen table top, I learned to slalom on it. Now that you bring this up, I think I'll take a run on it this weekend!

	We still have a nice wood Connelly Concept. Now that you bring it up!! I need to ski on that thing as I never have before.

	Below is a Joe Cash, from the late 60's early 70's. My mom loved the Joe Cash Slalom, this is the 2nd one she had (I learned on this one), but she always skied on the older one. My Dad has a Rail Custom, I wasn't around when he bought it(sparkle in his eye so to speak), but the picture below is similar to his. It had a VERY distinct front binding. I am guessing it might have been cut to the specific dimensions of an individual foot ("Hey Frank bring up a size 10.5 D...")
