the electrical relay setup and motor are designed for a 1970's set up but the mechanical part will work in any 200 series volvo outdrive. this one here came from aq250 that i am parting out.

I can't think of any Volvo outdrives on Correct Craft boats. Anybody think of one? Even I/O configs are so rare.

"Kris,
Since you do not know if a CC ever had a Volvo O/D in it, I suggest you do do not post in the CCfan site. I consider your post SPAM!!!!. " ----8122pbrainard well after doing some more research i found that it wasnt possible to get a Correct craft with a i/o setup. only the copies of correctcrafts had i/o setup. Here is the post i learned of this from: http://www.correctcraftfan.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=11984&title=cobalt-pics As for me posting spam, i did not know that they never came with an i/o setup it was an assumption that i came to after seing that they did come with interceptor motors. i recently purchased an interceptor 289 that had a volvo aq250 attached. so that is why i posted the volvo lift. I posted the manifolds in the parts section as well. Do you consider that spam too? you could have just said that correctcrafts never came with an i/o setup and that i was posting that in the wrong forum. Sorry |

Just leave it, and dont take Pete's message personally. I suspect someone may have peed in his Cheerios this morning.
I cant say definitively that CC ever put the outdrive in question in one of their boats, but I bet even Pete cant say definitively that they didnt. I/o CC's are sort of oddball and rare, but they did exist. Many can attest that the factory would build and ship configurations that did not seem to exist in brochures or build sheets during that time period, so who knows! From the '66 brochure: |

Poor Pete. He sure seems to have eaten a lot of Cheerios that got pissed in lately. Take it with a grain of salt....I think he means well...and sure knows a lot about boats.

God I hated those things. Its tilt motor, using it as trim would bend the actuator. i replaced hundreds. Uggg.. bad memories. Good price on what looks like a fresh water unit.
