Chrysler 318 for sale - Only $318

Ok gang, time to unload this so I can focus on an engine I'm picking up next week; so this has got to go. The good - Ran when I parked it, all there minus a carb and alternator, doesn't leak. I have a period correct alternator for it, not what is shown in the picture though. The bad - ugly, dirty, rusty and one of the exhaust manifolds was repaired at some point. I have the carb that came on the engine and it will go with the sale. I took it apart because the floats were stuck, jets fouled and the gaskets were bad from sitting. Never bought gaskets and put it back together. The guy I bought this engine from said it was rebuilt by a friend but never cleaned up.

You get the engine, engine mounts, a disassembled carb, a period correct alternator, bell housing, all the plumbing, what ever bolts I have plus the rust and grime. Trans not included... I ran this engine for about 1 hour in the creek the day I brought it home. It didn't overheat or make any strange noises. Had a marine mechanic come to my house and go over it. New oil, filter etc. It was only run in fresh water prior to me bringing it home. Ran it in my creek then had it flushed, winterized and removed from the hull. It's currently strapped to a pallet and shrink wrapped at a friends warehouse. I will even toss in a brand new marine battery that I bought! Battery has been sitting for a while but I hook it up to a trickle charger every so often.
